PQA ASSESSORS PREPARATORY COURSE

The Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Assessors Preparatory Course (APC) is a live-in training course that will run for five days. This program is in partnership between the Department of Trade and Industry – Competitiveness Bureau (DTI-CB) and the Philippine Quality Award Foundation, Inc.

This year’s first run will be at DAP Conference Center, Brgy. Sungay East, Tagaytay City from 18 May to 22 May 2020. The training process involves a lecture, individual and group exercises, and comments writing workshop based on the selected case study. More importantly, the course provides an opportunity for participants to be accredited to the Philippine Quality Award’s Assessors’ Pool.

PQA assessors is the backbone of the program who provide their skills, time and expertise in the assessment process. This course aims to enhance the knowledge of assessors in helping our local organizations improve their processes and increase their efficiency by equipping their managers, quality and process experts with the knowledge and skills to conduct over-all organizational self-assessment based on an internationally accepted business excellence framework. Specifically, the participants will be able to:

  • Gain competencies required as a PQA Assessors in reviewing and assessing award applications;
  • Learn how to plan and conduct site visits;
  • Prepare feedback report to applicant organization; and
  • Discuss the results of assessment to the board of judges and applicant organizations.

This training is open for CEOs and department/section heads and managers of public and private organizations familiar with Productivity & Quality principles as they will benefit most from participation in the program. Other organizations interested and is planning to implement and apply for the PQA may also participate to this course.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • The training fee is Php 25,000.00 per pax which covers training materials, meals (breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner), and room accommodation (5 days and 4 nights in twin sharing room). Transportation is excluded.
  • Acceptance of training is on first come-first serve basis and is upon submission to PQAF of proof of payment of the training fee by May 08, 2020.
  • Submission of the accomplished registration form without proof of payment will serve only as temporary slot reservation.
  • Participants will receive a formal acceptance letter from DTI with the details of the training course and instructions for the required prework submission upon receipt of any proof of payment.
  • Participants are required to finish the course to receive the Certificate of Completion and to be recognized as part of the PQA Pool of Assessors.
  • Early Bird Discount:

             10% discount – Pay us on or before April 17 2020

5% discount – Pay us on or before April 24, 2020

2% discount – Pay us on or before May 01, 2020

1% discount – Pay us on or before May 08, 2020

  • Cancellation & Refund Policy assuming payment for registration has been submitted:

Full Refund – request to cancel three (3) weeks before May 18, 2020

50% Refund – request to cancel two (2) weeks before May 18, 2020

No Refund – request to cancel three (3) days before May 18, 2020
