Business Excellence Training

The DTI-CB conducted a 2-day Business Excellence Training held on August 15-16, 2017 at The Legend Villas, Mandaluyong City. The training aims to equip participants on the Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC) criteria requirements in starting their quality journey. It was attended by diverse industries such as Services (IT and Consultancy), Food Manufacturing, Academe, Hospitality, Public Sector (LGU and NGA), and Wholesale and Retail. Mr. Joel C. Amante, President of the Total Quality Management Foundation (TQM Foundation) facilitated the training.

Some of the PQC Technical Working Group (TWG) Members were also present in the Business Excellence Training and gave their insights about the training:

PQC BE Training gives organizations greater understanding on how to move to excellence using the PQC criteria framework.” – Dr. Miflora M. Gathchalian, PQC TWG Member

After the 2-day event, the participants shared their insights after the training:

About the Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC):

The Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC) is an assessment, consultancy and recognition program, that is administered by the DTI-Competitiveness Bureau (DTI-CB).  It provides local organizations with an integrated approach to managing the organization’s business processes and system by using a simplified version of the PQA criteria.  Organizations that adopt the criteria and go through the assessment process is actually benchmarking its own management systems and practices against the criteria requirements of an internationally recognized business excellence framework.

 

Business Excellence Training
