Danilyn’s Enterprises Inc.(DEI)

Danilyn’s Enterprises Inc.(DEI) DEI manufactures furniture and soft furnishings that are customized depending on the clients’ specifications. DEI also acquires ready-made, interior-design products for its customers under its trading business. It offers services to clients at the start of negotiations and even after delivery of products. Its products include furniture (full upholstered, wood and stainless furniture, padded walls and headboards); trading (fabrics, roller shades, curtain tracks & accessories and mirrors); soft furnishings (roman shades, curtains, comforters, duvet covers, table cloths, beddings, throw pillows); and services (general upholstery, varnishing, refinishing, curtain installation and vacuum cleaning.

EMS Components Assembly Inc.(EMSCAI)

EMS Components Assembly Inc. (EMSCAI) is a 100% Filipino-owned contract manufacturer whose main charter is to provide electronic manufacturing subcontracting services to the local and global market. Its goal is to become a market leader geared towards low production cost with the highest quality level.

Manila Catering Services (MCS)

Manila Catering Services (MCS) is a family-owned business operating since 1988. It started as a small scale operation consisting of 6 staff including the owners and after 22 years, grew into a 63-manned operation excluding the owners who now form part of the Executive Committee.

The company offers various products such as banquet food for weddings, debuts, parties and corporate events, processed and semi-processed food and ready to heat meals for the retail outlets, airline and institutional accounts. Aside from the actual catering service, Manila Catering also provides equipment rentals, food delivery service and events coordination services, MCS also serves as the R&D Department for all company affiliates.

Sunlight Foods Corporation (SFC)

Sunlight Foods Corporation (SFC) was established in December 2000 with initial capital of P1.3 million. Its main line of business is processing of fruit preserves requirements for the bakery, ice cream and fast food industries such as ube puree, macapuno preserves, langka preserves, banana puree, sweetened saba preserve processes and packed according to customer’s specifications.

University of the Philippines - National Engineering Center

UP-National Engineering Center (UPNEC) was established on January 27, 1978 as a distinct and separate unit of the University of the Philippines (UP) by virtue of Presidential Decree (PD) No. 1295.  The creation was a response to the country’s continuing efforts at national development, which require progressive and adequate utilization and diffusion of technology, as well as a steady and expanding supply of technical manpower with expertise in the various fields of technology and engineering.


Provides a venue for continuing interaction among government, industry, and the university which will be beneficial to all concerned and, at the same time, serve the interests of national development.  Adequate support shall be provided so that existing programs for the development if qualified manpower and research on technological development can be strengthened, improved, and expanded.  UPNEC also serves as the research and extension arm of the UP College of Engineering (UPCOE).
