ROHM Electronics Philippines, Inc. (REPI)

Rohm Electronics Philippines, Inc.(REPI)  is a Japanese electronic parts manufacturer located in the center of Special Economic Zone called People's Technology Complex, in the Municipality of Carmona, in the province of Cavite. A  PEZA registered enterprise  established in September 1989  and  pioneering in manufacturing  of high quality chip fixed resistors since 1991. Aside from this, REPI are also the leading manufacturer of Monolithic ICs and Transistors.

Our Policy is “Quality First” and we aim to create products of high quality which live up to the customer’s needs. Our products are valued in the world market and used in a variety of electronic devices , providing support for everyday lifestyle and activities. REPI a certified  ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/ TS 16949:2009  and highly evaluated by major customers as an enterprise with an excellent quality assurance system and advance manufacturing technology.

REPI is highly acclaimed to be a company that greatly contributes to the national economy and strengthen Philippine Society by employing more than 3,500 employees. With this, numerous awards was received from Philippine Government institution such as PEZA Top Exporter, PEZA Outstanding Community Project, PEZA Outstanding Environmental Performer and PEZA Outstanding Top Employer among others.

With all of this, Rohm Electronics Philippines, Inc. is playing a major role in World Electronics Industry. 

SMC Yamamura Fuso Molds Corporation (SYFMC)

SMC Yamamura Fuso Molds Corporation (SYFMC) is a joint venture
company between San Miguel Corporation (Philippines), Nihon
Yamamura Glass Co., Ltd. (Japan), and Fuso Machine & Mold
Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Japan). It is the premier designer and
manufacturer of glass container molds in the Philippines, with added
capability to produce PET and Plastic Injection molds, and precision
machine and equipment parts.


The company uses advanced and state-of-the-art Computer Numerically
Controlled (CNC) machines that can produce mechanical parts with
intricate designs. Sophisticated software is used to ensure accuracy of
designs to conform to stringent customer requirements. Molds produced
in the plant in Cavite, Philippines, are used to manufacture glass bottles
exported to Australia, New Zealand and the United States.


SYFMC has been ISO 9001 certified since June 1995 and currently ISO
9001:2008 certified by Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC).

STMicroelectronics is one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies with net revenues of US$ 7.40 billion in 2014. Offering one of the industry’s broadest product portfolios, ST serves customers across the spectrum of electronics applications with innovative semiconductor solutions by leveraging its vast array of technologies, design expertise and combination of intellectual property portfolio, strategic partnerships and manufacturing strength.

STMicroelectronics, Inc. in Calamba is a high tech facility for the assembly and test of wafers and integrated circuits. It aims to provide ST with backend manufacturing and support services of the highest quality, at competitive cost and with on-time delivery. It caters to various product applications. Its technology includes assembly, final test, and electrical wafer sort, package development, test development, failure analysis and reliability engineering, and RF competency. It envisions as a benchmark of Manufacturing Excellence  propelling the business to its 20th year milestone in the Philippines.

Recognition for Commitment to Quality Management

Department of Science and Technology - Region II

The Department of Science & Technology 02 (DOST02) is the lead agency for promoting science & technology in the Cagayan Valley Region. It is one of the 16 regional offices of DOST.

“We are a platoon, but we work like a Battalion.”  This is the key factor behind DOST -02’s attainment of its various successes.

Its latest achievement is the appointment of its former Director, Dr. Urdujah A. Tejada  to Assistant Secretary of DOST and Program Manager for Countryside Development. The equally capable Assistant Regional Director, Engr, Sancho A. Maborang is now the Officer-in-Charge of the Office.  As Dr. Tejada would always say DOST 02 is her reason for her promotion, where she believes in human capital.

Among DOST 02’s best practices in meeting and listening to customer requirements are the conduct of S&T Caravans in reaching out and bringing closer S&T in the countryside with the 4I’s as its objectives “Inform, Integrate, Improve and Inspire”.

DOST 02 caters to a variety of customers, the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the researchers, students,  would-be entrepreneurs, the local government units, the state colleges and universities and research institutions. 

Lyceum of the Philippines University - Laguna

LPU Laguna an affiliate of the Lyceum of the Philippines University, was established in 2000 by the late Senator Sotero H. Laurel in partnership with Mr. Feliciano L. Torres, President of Yazaki Manufacturing Company. It sits on a sprawling 14 hectare property in Makiling Calamba Laguna, with modern buildings, state of the art facilities and equipment and various laboratories that serve the needs of the 33 academic programs being offered by the school.

 

In fourteen years, LPU Laguna has managed to have its ten programs accredited in various levels by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) and Philippines Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU). Additionally, LPU Laguna has been granted full accreditation status by the International Center of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education. It is also ISO certified by Certification International for its Quality Management System and certified Gold by Investors in People for its people management practices.

 

LPU Laguna continues to raise the bar and re-affirm its commitment to quality and excellence. It believes that with its dedicated and competent people who share common vision and goals, LPU Laguna holds a bright future as it continues to carve its niche in the international community of educators and scholars.

Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Manila

Colegio de San Juan de Letran is a Dominican institution of learning tasked to form a student to become a person who has integrated within himself the natural and supernatural aspects of Catholic education that will effectively prepare him for his bounden duties as a citizen of his country and a child of the Holy Mother Church.

The Colegio, since its founding in 1620, has always been a shining example of academic excellence and a leader in values formation. Driven by the passion to lead its students to success, Letran ensures that its system, programs, facilities, and personnel are all geared into achieving quality service and even beyond.

The Colegio has faithfully lived up to her mission of the quality formation of integral human person. Countless great men have passed and will continue to pass through the portals of this old venerable institution - revolutionaries, heroes and patriots, four Philippine presidents, leader of the church and most notable of all, a saint. In its long history, there will always be the successes as well as challenges for Letran.
