Mr. Ferdinand A. Ferrer - President: EMS Components Assembly Inc.
2012 PQC Challenge 1 Awardee

I strongly believe that the road to success will be travelled by those who embrace constant innovation and continuous improvement. The Philippine Quality Challenge, which highlights the Seven Criteria Framework have been key contributor to our daily improvement. From the outside looking in, the assessors were able to identify gaps that are essential for our organization to address and lead us to the road of continuous improvement. The program has been instrumental in our relentless pursuit of excellence.

Dr. Mike Turvill - President: Hotel and Spa Essentials
2013 PQC Challenge 1 Awardee

We are very grateful to the DTI Centre for Competitiveness that we were able to take part in the Philippine Quality Challenge. As a result of the process, which includes in initial training, a self assessment and then independent verification by a group of talented assessors, we have been able to identify and implement many opportunities for improvement notably in the areas of customer and operations management, strategic planning and employee engagement.

Our management committee and employees are now continuing our PQC journey working to better serve our customers, our shareholders, our employees and the community in which we operate.

We would recommend the PQC process to any Company looking for a process to foster continuous improvement and growth.

Ms. Jocelyn A. Ventocilla - President: Tri Phil International, Inc.
2013 PQC Challenge 1 Awardee

”Our quest for the Philippine Quality Challenge is not only to win the Award but a step towards our search for Operational Excellence. The PQC Criteria framework helped us to align our resources, improve communication and identify drivers of success. The PQC was a powerful intervention that brought realization to our management team of the importance of performance measurement to successfully manage our business strategies. The experience also helped us to actively engage all the members of our team towards continuous improvement to deliver customer satisfaction and achieve sustainable competitiveness.

I would encourage any company journeying towards Operational Excellence to take on this challenge. It is a very inspiring experience and a very rewarding journey”. On behalf of the entire team of Tri-Phil, I would like to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude to all those who inspired us to take on this first step. Thank you also for the opportunity and for providing us with the knowledge that will help us excel in our Quality Journey”.
