PQA ASSESSORS PREPARATORY COURSE

PQA ASSESSORS PREPARATORY COURSE

The Phlippine Quality Award (PQA) Assessors Preparatory Course (APC) is a live-out training course that will run for five days. This program is a partnership between the Department of Trade and Industry – Competitiveness Bureau (DTI-CB) and the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC).

The first run of this training for the year 2019 will be at PTTC Seminar Room C, PTTC Bldg., Philtrade Complex, Sen. Gil J. Puyat Ave. cor. Roxas Blvd., Pasay City on April 1-5, 2019. Sessions will start at 8:00 am daily. The training process involves a lecture, individual and group exercises, and comments writing workshop based on the selected case study.

The backbone of the program is the PQA assessors who provide their skills, time and expertise in the assessment process. This course aims to enhance the knowledge of assessors in helping our local organizations improve their processes and increase their efficiency by equipping their managers, quality and process experts with the knowledge and skills to conduct over-all organizational self-assessment based on an internationally accepted business excellence framework.

More importantly, the course provides an opportunity for participants to be accredited to the Philippine Quality Award’s Assessors’ Pool. Specifically, the participants will be able to:

* Gain competencies required as a PQA Assessors in reviewing and assessing award applications;

* Learn how to plan and conduct site visits;

* Prepare feedback report to applicant organization; and

* Discuss the results of assessment to the board of judges and applicant organizations.

This training is open for CEOs and department/section heads and managers of public and private organizations familiar with Productivity & Quality principles will benefit most from participation in the program. Other organizations interested and is planning to implement and apply for the PQA may also participate to this course.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
 
• The participation fee is P15,000.00 per pax which covers the 5 day live-out training, materials, meals (breakfast, 2 snacks and lunch), and venue only.  Accommodation and transportation are not included.
 
• Acceptance of training is on a first come-first serve basis.
 
• Participants will receive a formal acceptance letter from PTTC with details of the training course and payment details.
 
• Once accepted, participants are requested to pay the training/participation fee in cash or company check payable to PTTC
 
Upon receipt of any proof of payment, PTTC will send the pre-work package and must be submitted back to PTTC not later than 18 March 2019. Note that the submission of the accomplished pre-work assignment is MANDATORY.
